Another view of the Pendu stream, this time focused on the reflections on the surface of the water. The stones on the bed, the ambient light and the shades of the sky mingle on the surface, creating a play of moving mirrors that changes at every moment with the angle and the brightness of the day.

This small format concentrates on that changing matter — neither quite transparent nor quite reflective — which is what makes painting running water up close so interesting.
