Bijou - Small study of the Guiers Mort — Oil on linen, plein air

A small study painted on site, on the banks of the Guiers Mort. The tight format demands a quick, synthetic reading of the scene — the essentials of values and light, without the details a larger format would allow.

This kind of study, made in a short session, requires a particular spontaneity: less time to hesitate, more precision in the gesture, while keeping a kind of secret intimacy. An accessible format to discover plein-air work on the Guiers Mort.
